Vladimir Putin gambles on a new casino gambling destination in Siberia

A new international casino gambling destination that is built on a 1,500-acre gambling area, complete with 16 super casinos, shopping malls, hotels, a marina, a yacht club and ski slopes is coming to Siberia. This super casino city complex which employs 700 staff to manage the casino-hotel complexes at Primorye Entertainment Zone is located approximately 30 miles from Vladivostok. With China, Japan and South Korea being a short plane flight away, the casino complex is hoping to attract high rollers from Asia, as well as create strong competition for Macau and Las Vegas. President Vladimir Putin, who will be opening the £3 billion casino city next month is hoping that it will be a significant boost to the Russian economy which has been struggling as a result of Western sanctions.
