Three lucky people win the $1.6 billion dollar U.S. Powerball

The world’s largest Powerball jackpot in history was won by three lucky people. The winners are from Munford, Tennessee, Chino Hills in Los Angeles, and Melbourne Beach in Florida. The lucky numbers were 4, 8, 19, 27, 34 and Powerball 10. Additionally, there were also eight $2 million Power Play winners, and 73 $1 million winners who selected the 5 white balls, but didn’t select the correct red Powerball. The winning ticket from California was sold at a 7-Eleven, the Florida ticket was sold at a Publix supermarket, and the Tennessee ticket was sold at a family-owned grocery store. The winners’ identities remains a mystery, but the winners have up to one year to contact lottery officials before the money automatically goes to schools.
