Texas, McKinney: Police raid suspected illegal gambling rooms and confiscate cash and gambling machines

McKinney police raided a number of game rooms on Wednesday the 26th of August after monitoring suspected illegal gambling operations for approximately one year. As a result of the raids, police confiscated 609 gambling machines, 6 Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs), approximately $60,892 in cash, and a number of receipts and ledgers that police are hoping will confirm illegal gambling operations. Although no charges have yet been filed, 62 persons were detained and questioned by police before being released. In addition to the McKinney police, the other agencies that are also investigating include Homeland Security, the Collin County District Attorney’s office, the Collin County Sheriff’s office and the Texas Comptroller’s office.

Platinum Game Room, 3111 N. McDonald St., No. 1000

Ruby Reds, 1203 N. Kentucky St., Suite A

Venetian’s Game Room, 1203 N. Kentucky St., Suite C
