St. Louis, Missouri – A robbery suspect jumps 50 feet from the Lumiere Casino parking garage

An elderly woman was making her way to the third level of the parking garage at 2.00 a.m when she was approached by a man who demanded money. The suspect ran off when he noticed that someone was watching him and calling for help. The suspect was pursued by security personnel and decided to escape from them by jumping from the 4th floor of the garage onto a loading dock located at street level, which is at least a 50 foot drop. As a result, the suspect broke his leg and back. He is currently hospitalized and is facing criminal charges. Lumiere casino personnel have asked their casino patrons to be aware of their surroundings and to be safety conscious when leaving the casino.
