Spotswood, New Jersey – Police confiscate a knife, a bat, and a slot machine

Spotswood, New Jersey – On the 21st of January at 1.22 p.m., Spotswood Police stopped a driver that was traveling at 54 mph in a 30 mph zone on Main Street. Inside the car, police found a knife, a bat with a broken handle that was taped for grip, and a coin operated slot machine. The Bradley Beach man was arrested and taken to police headquarters. He was charged with possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose/possession and transportation of a gambling device. He was released and is expected to face court at a later date.
