Sparks, Nevada – Wolf Pack assistant coach crashes car into the Nugget Casino Resort

Jeffery Nady, 27, a former Nevada football standout and the current Wolf Pack assistant coach was arrested by Sparks police on Friday the 27th of October shortly before midnight after crashing his vehicle into the Nugget Casino Resort and running into the resort.

“On 10-27-17, a Sparks Police Officer in an unmarked police vehicle observed a reckless driver on I-80 exiting onto Pyramid Highway. The officer observed the suspect strike an exit sign and flee the scene. The officer called for assistance and observed the vehicle drive recklessly onto Nugget Ave. The vehicle continued westbound on Nugget Avenue until trying to make the turn onto northbound 11th street. The driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the Nugget Casino Hotel. The suspect fled from the accident by leaving his vehicle and entered the Nugget Casino Hotel where he was apprehended by a Sparks Police Officer. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported from this incident.” said Sparks police in a news release.

Nady was arrested and charged with;

DUI-Alcohol
Open Container in a vehicle
Intoxicated Person in Possession of a Firearm
Reckless Driving
Obstructing of a Police Officer
Leaving the Scene of an Accident
