Sioux Falls, South Dakota: Two casinos in Sioux Falls are robbed in 2 days

Police responded to a hold-up alarm at Happy Jacks Casino on East Arrowhead Parkway shortly after midnight on Tuesday the 8th of December. A man carrying a gun demanded money from the clerk. After he was given an undisclosed amount of money, the man ran off through the casino’s south door. The man is described as being approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. He was wearing a black ski mask, a red bandana and a gray jacket. No one was injured during the robbery.

The second robbery occurred the following day at 1:34 AM on Wednesday the 9th of December at Jacksons Casino which is located at 825 S Minnesota Avenue, Sioux Falls, South Dakota 57104. After an employee had closed and locked the casino door, she heard someone knocking on the door. When she opened the door to see who it was, she was confronted with a man who was wearing a bandana over his face, and holding his hand in his pocket as if to show that he has a weapon. He demanded money, and quickly exited the casino through the west door after he was given an undisclosed amount of money. He is described as being approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and was wearing a bandana, and a hooded sweatshirt under a dark colored coat.
