Rapper Fat Trel is arrested and accused of trying to pass counterfeit bills at Maryland Live! Casino

Martrel Reeves, 25, who goes by the moniker “Fat Trel”, has been arrested and charged with one count of possession of forged currency. The story unfolded when Reeves tried to exchange nine counterfeit $50 notes, totaling $450, for casino chips with the table pit boss at Hanover’s Maryland Live! Casino on Sunday evening. When casino security noticed that the bills were fake, they alerted police and Reeves was arrested. Reeves told police that he didn’t know that the money was fake, and and that he got the bills from an ATM in a 7-Eleven in Washington, D.C. Reeves is currently signed with Maybach Music Group and Atlantic Records.
