Quincy, Massachusetts – An elderly casino winner is followed, assaulted and robbed outside her home

On the 10th of November, 2017, Ty Shon Forbes, 21, of Warwick watched as a 61 year old woman cashed out a considerable amount of money at Twin River Casino in Lincoln. Following her out into the car park and 43 miles to her home in Quincy, Forbes assaulted and robbed his victim in front of her home. During the attack, the victim suffered serious injuries, including broken vertebrae. Forbes escaped in a black vehicle after taking the woman’s purse. The victim told police that she recognized her attacker from the casino. Forbes was arrested and faces charges of unarmed robbery and assault and battery on someone over 60.
