Queens, New York City – A man wins $5 million on his birthday
Giving $50 to her son for his upcoming 28th birthday, the mother advised her son to use some of the money to purchase a lottery scratch card. Stopping by at a grocery store in Brownsville, Brooklyn, on December 20, Patrick Clarke purchased two $10 Set for Life lottery scratchoff tickets. Much to his delight, Clarke soon discovered that he had just won a cool $5 million, although the amount will shrink down to $2,453,693 after taxes. The father of two, who works for an American airline will continue to work, and will use part of the money to purchase a house and set up a financial plan for his children’s future.
