Police break up a prostitution ring at a casino

Nine people have been arrested as a result of a sex sting at the Coeur d’Alene Casino. Over a number of months, there have been a number of complaints made by patrons regarding a prostitution operation that was taking place at Coeur d’Alene casino and the attached resort hotel areas. Since Coeur d’Alene Casino is in the jurisdiction of the reservation and Kootenai County, the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation. Over the space of two days, the 29th and 30th of April, law enforcement officers made nine arrests including eight adult females and one adult male. Police were hoping to make more arrests, but a number of social media posts were made warning about a sex sting at the casino during its first night of operation.
