Niagara Falls – A hotel guest zaps a casino worker with a stun gun at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino

A hotel guest at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, by the name of Karen K. Moore, 43, from North Tonawanda was recently arrested by Niagara Falls police and charged with second-degree assault with a weapon and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. The incident that led up to the arrest occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on Sunday the 10th of January, when a casino employee made her way to the casino bathroom. Moore followed the employee into the bathroom, reached her hand under the stall dividing wall and discharged a stun gun, zapping the casino employee’s leg. As a result of the attack, the casino employee suffered burn marks on her lower right leg. Moore quickly ran out of the bathroom after attacking the employee, but the moment Moore walked into the bathroom, and the moment that she ran out of the bathroom were both captured on surveillance video, and security was able to identify her as a guest who was staying at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. Police also found the pink stun gun in Moore’s possession. Moore said that someone had tried to take her purse, but the victim said that she had done absolutely nothing to provoke the attack. Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino is located at 310 4th St, Niagara Falls, NY 14303.
