Montego Bay, Jamaica – Lottery winner collects a $180 million check while wearing a big, yellow emoji face

Known only as N Gray, the lottery player who won a massive $180 million thanks to Super Lotto finally came forward to claim the jackpot. The only strange thing about it is that she did it all while wearing a big, yellow emoji face mask in an effort to keep her identity a secret. In the Caribbean, it is quite common for lottery winners to wear disguises when they collect their winnings in order to protect themselves from criminals and to not encourage monetary requests from their relatives and friends.

“God allowed this to happen. I am elated, because I was drowning in debt. I started buying Super Lotto in January, and I normally choose random numbers. I am employed, but I am not necessarily going to leave my job. Now I’ve won, I want to clear my debt, invest, and I want to do some travelling. I would like to construct a community centre for the youths in my community, so they can engage in something productive; somewhere where they can do information technology.” Gray said.
