MGM Resorts International to start charging for parking on the Las Vegas Strip

Soon, free parking will no longer be available at most of the MGM Resorts International properties on the Las Vegas Strip. They are Mandalay Bay, Delano, Luxor, Excalibur, Monte Carlo, New York-New York, Vdara, Aria, Bellagio, The Mirage and MGM Grand. MGM Resorts International is planning to charge $10 or less for overnight self-parking at most of its Strip properties starting this spring. However, paid self-parking at MGM Resorts International properties might well be worth it given the fact that the company is planning a multi-million upgrade of its parking facilities, including a new 3,000-space parking garage next to the Excalibur Hotel and mobile technology that allows guests check for parking spaces prior to arrival.
