Jamaica, New York – A man guns down his ex-girlfriend outside the Resorts World Casino

Dalton Branch, 51, who is suspected of gunning down his e-girlfriend, Patricia Mohammed, 55, outside the Resorts World Casino in Queens was shot and killed following a gun fight with police officers approximately 3 miles from the casino. According to reports, Branch opened fire on his ex-girlfriend after spotting her talking to a man in the casino parking lot at approximately 2:30 a.m. The man ran off, while Mohammed ran to her car, but Branch chased her and fatally shot her multiple times in the torso. Branch then drove through the car park trying to locate the man that Mohammed was talking to. While remaining hidden, the man contacted police and reported the incident. Police managed to track Branch to the area in the 800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in East New York, and 3 miles from the casino a few hours later. After telling a relative of Mohammed that he was “going out hard”, Branch began firing at the police officers from inside his car before stepping out of his car and firing more bullets in their direction. Officers returned fire, unloading about 20 bullets and hitting Branch multiple times. Branch was transported to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
