Horseshoe Casino Cleveland is fined $50,000

During a routine audit by the Ohio Casino Control Commission, a number of issues came to light regarding certain aspects of operation at Horseshoe Casino Cleveland. For starters, the Horseshoe Casino Cleveland did not have adequate surveillance coverage of table games and the image resolution was not sufficient. As a result, the casino was fined $50,000. The Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati was fined $125,000 as a result of credit extension and surveillance coverage issues. The Horseshoe Casino Cleveland has been previously fined for a number of offenses including the use of unapproved dice, mishandling keys, not posting a problem gambling contact number on promotional posters, replacing chips with quarters, incorrectly storing and shipping slot machines, and encouraging cocktail servers to enter restricted areas between table games.
