Hooters Casino Hotel is Sold

The owners of Hooters Casino Hotel (Canyon Capital Advisors) sold the property for approximately $70 million to a New York-based hotel investment company (Trinity Hotel Investors LLC.) on the 1st of May 2015. Hooters Casino Hotel, which is located at 115 East Tropicana Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada was purchased by Canyon Capital Advisors in 2012 for $60 million. The casino initially known as the Hotel San Remo opened its doors back in 1973, but changed its name to Hooters Casino Hotel in 2006 when four original founders of Hooters bought and renovated it. The future plans for the property are currently unknown.
