Four thieves armed a baseball bat, a hammer, and hatchets rob Let’s Bingo in Dundalk

Sometime after 9.00 pm on Wednesday the 28th of September, four men wearing Halloween and balaclava masks burst into Let’s Bingo on the Racecourse Road, threatening staff and players while demanding money. While two men kicked through the door into the ticket booth, the other two shouted at the players and told them to be quiet. There were approximately 100 players present during the robbery, most of whom were elderly. After filling a bag of mostly one and two Euro coins, the thieves fled the scene in a silver car. Although the robbery left a number of elderly people visibly upset and in tears, fortunately, no one was injured. Anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the suspects is asked to contact Dundalk Garda Station on 042 9388400.
