Bensalem, Pennsylvania – A New Jersey couple abandon their children in a parking lot to gamble at Parx Casino

Jarrett Nelson, 39, and Ebony Walker, 30, both of Newark, New Jersey were charged and arrested on the 2nd of January 2016 for leaving their three children unattended in a parked vehicle while they gambled at the Parx Casino which is located at 2999 Street Road, Bensalem, Pennsylvania 19020. The children, aged 1, 3 and 8 were left unattended in the SUV for one hour and 38 minutes while the outside temperatures hovered in the low 30’s. Police were notified after a casino patron spotted the children and alerted casino security. The children were taken to hospital and evaluated before being released to their grandparents. Both parents were arraigned and taken to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail.
