Auckland, New Zealand – Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton slams Sky City casino

Formula One champ, Lewis Hamilton (31) has slammed Sky City casino in a tweet for a bad casino experience. On the 14th of March at 11:42 p.m., Hamilton tweeted to his 3.2 million followers “Don’t ever go to the sky city casino in Auckland, they treated me like dirt. Can’t believe how rude they were. Worst casino experience ever!” Hamilton deleted his tweet shortly afterwards without any explanation. It is possible that the F1 champ who usually wears sunglasses or a hat, and takes selfies, may have been unaware of the casino’s policy to not allow persons to wear hats, sunglasses or to take selfies on the casino floor. Sky City casino tweeted back, “So sorry to hear @lewishamilton didn’t have a good time with us last night. We pride ourselves on being good hosts – we’re following up with him.” on Tuesday morning. Hamilton stopped by in Auckland, on his way to the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, Australia.

Sky City casino is located at Level 2 Skycity, 72/78 Victoria St W, CBD, Auckland 1010, New Zealand.
