Ambulance drivers rob a Parx casino patron at gunpoint

Wayner Segura (29), and Jahyquiriz Ramos (27), both from Philadelphia, were both recently arrested and charged with robbing a man of “various items” at gun point. After leaving Parx Casino in Bucks County, the male victim entered his car and drove out of the car park. However, unknown to him, two men followed him out of the car park in an ambulance. The victim noticed that he was being followed when he arrived at the New Jersey Turnpike exit at Rt. 130 northbound in Florence. After robbing their victim at gun point, the two suspects fled the scene and the victim proceeded to file a police report. Fortunately for the victim, the Parx casino surveillance system had recorded Segura and Ramos as they exited the casino car park behind the victim in the ambulance. Following some investigation that involved the Pennsylvania State Police, the Burlington County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshal’s Service, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Parx casino management, the ambulance vehicle was traced to a private ambulance company who the two suspects worked for. Both suspects have been arrested, charged and are awaiting trial.
