A Louisiana man is jailed for counterfeiting $100 bills at the Isle of Capri Casino

Deldrick Shykil Fowler (22) of DeQuincy, Louisiana was recently charged and sentenced on one count of counterfeiting obligations to the United States. He was also sentenced to three years of supervised release. Fowler was initially arrested on February 13 during a traffic stop where he was found to be in possession of thousands of dollars worth of counterfeit bills. The U.S. Secret Service then set up surveillance equipment in Fowler’s hotel room at the Isle of Capri Casino in Lake Charles, Louisiana on the 12th of August 2014. As a result of the surveillance operation, agents seized two counterfeit $100 bills, 16 uncut sheets of $100 bills, and 10 uncut sheets of $100 bills printed on only one side.
