A Lake Tahoe casino employee is arrested on suspicion of theft

A Lake Tahoe casino employee was arrested on suspicion of theft after picking up $10,000 worth of $100 bills that a casino winner had accidentally dropped. After winning $70,000, the casino patron was making his way to the elevator from the Harrah’s Tahoe casino floor, when he accidentally dropped $10,000. Having spotted the cash, a 36 year old janitorial worker swept up the money and hid it in a garbage bin. Unfortunately for the janitor, the whole incident was caught on camera. The janitor was arrested, and the $10,000 were recovered from the rubbish bin. The janitor told the authorities that he planned on turning in the money to his supervisor during his next break, except for $100 that he was hoping to keep for himself.
