A homeless man attacks and breaks a slot machine

Daniel Rosario Castillo (31), a homeless Bethlehem, New York man was recently arrested for damaging a slot machine at Sands casino. The incident took place shortly after midnight on Tuesday, when casino staff spotted Castillo striking and breaking a slot machine. When he was confronted by security, he told them that the machine was already broken, however casino surveillance cameras clearly show Castillo hitting and breaking the machine. Castillo was subsequently arrested and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $1,500 bail. According to officials at the Sands casino, the machine cost $1,225 to repair, and the casino is seeking the amount in restitution.
