A couple disappear after leaving a casino

Cecil Knutson (79) and Diana Bedwell (68) were planning on enjoying a Mother’s Day dinner at their son’s home at Riverside County, but they never showed up. After leaving the Valley View Casino & Hotel in Valley Center in northern San Diego County at approximately 2 PM on Mother Day, the couple were meant to drive to their son’s house in La Quinta in Riverside County. The drive should’ve taken about 2 hours, but the couple never arrived. Bedwell’s cellphone was switched off near the casino, while Knutson’s cellphone was switched off a few minutes later. A tracking device that was installed in the couple’s car (a 2014 white Hyundai Sonata, with California license plate No. 7EHE981) is also not responding. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department at 858-565-5200.
