A Blackjack player is arrested for “Past Post Betting” or “Late Betting” at the Sands Casino Resort

Christopher Jenkins, 32, of Passaic which is a city in Passaic County, New Jersey was recently arrested for attempting to cheat during a game of Blackjack at the Sands Casino Resort which is located at 77 Sands Boulevard, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania 18015. On two separate occasions, Jenkins had allegedly tried to place a bet after the cards were dealt by a Blackjack dealer. “Past Post Betting” or “Late Betting” refers to the act of placing a bet after a set time when no more bets are to be taken, and is a form of cheating. Jenkins is then alleged to have provided a false identification and birth date to a trooper. Jenkins was charged with gaming cheating, theft by deception and providing false identification to law enforcement. He was arraigned before District Judge Roy Manwaring and sent to Northampton County Prison where he is yet to post bail.
