A billionaire loses £2 million on Roulette in less than 2 hours at London’s Ritz Club

Safa Abdulla Al-Geabury (52) is being sued in London’s High Court for £2 million after a check that he wrote on the 19th of February 2014 was dishonored by the bank. However, instead of paying his gambling debt, Al-Geabury has decided to counter sue for £3.4 million or £5.4 million to cover the amount of money he lost at the Mayfair casino over four years, arguing that he has a gambling problem, and that the bosses should have stopped him betting because they knew he was hopelessly addicted. The High Court hearing is due to last five days, during which psychiatrists will evaluate the extent of Al-Geabury’s gambling addiction, and whether it would’ve been noticeable to the casino staff.
